When shopping for Christmas (or in The Netherlands, also for ‘Sinterklaas’ in early December), wouldn’t it be nice to know for sure that the great gift was made with the proper care for the environment? For sure, heaps of labels exist that do just that, but do you really know your FSC from your eco-label?
‘My Green Wishlist’ (or ‘Mijn Groene Verlanglijstje’ in Dutch) was set up to allow regular consumers, with neither the time nor the inclination to read into the background of the various labels, to shop for cool, amazing and sustainable products. The website can be found at www.mijngroeneverlanglijstje.nl, with an iPhone app to be released shortly.
At the moment, the list contains about 150 products.
